Instrument Recognition and Transcription in Polyphonic Music
I did this term project at the Signal Processing Institute at EPF Lausanne as a part of my graduate studies in electrical engineering. The Report and Matlab source code are public and may be used under terms of GPL.
The code is by no means finished. It works and is documented but is not at all user friendly. See Report for a short usage guide. I hope someone can use parts of my functions for an Automatic Music Transcription software.
